Well, we did say that there were going to be great cakes for our Open Day for the National Garden Scheme!! And there were….
We also had splendid weather last Sunday – not too hot but sunny – and a great turn out. And we raised over £1200 for the NGS.
The main garden looked very pretty…
… our Growing Garden next door was positively bursting with produce.
Our visitors all seemed to have a pleasantly relaxed time…..
And the lovely Secret Life Saxophone Quartet gave us a fine concert!
So thank you to the quartet (and thanks to them also for the video) and to all of you who came and made it such a jolly afternoon.
If you would like to see more of either the main garden or the Growing Garden, check in to our Growing Garden and our Walks on Hampstead Heath blogs over the next few days.
Music in the Ville Art Auction – 6th July
Meanwhile, plans are coming together very nicely for our fund raising auction for Music in the Ville on July 6th.

We not only have some very exciting bits of art (see here for more details) but we have some quite substantial pre auction bids on a few of the pieces – so it could be quite a nail biting night!!
But even if you are not in the market for a Gormley or a Grayson Perry, it will be a really fun evening with music from some of Music in the Ville’s lead tutors, a short film about the project and loads of wine, delicious cheeses, breads and healthy crudités. All for £25!

Sunday 12th July – Highgate Society lunchtime concert
The Lior Solomons Wise trio. A firm favourite with our Sunday lunchtimes audiences, Lior is back – but this time with a new trio. His brother Noam on drums and Guy Dempsey on double bass.
£15 for the concert a glass of Bucks Fizz.
