Given the current uncertainty about Boris’ 21st June ‘unlock’ we are sure that many of you may be somewhat hesitant in making future plans. As you can imagine, we are also nervous. However, the extra freedoms promised for June 21st should not affect us as we can already operate safely under the current restrictions. But just to reassure you:
Worst case scenario
Should we find ourselves, heaven forfend, being locked down again and unable to hold the concerts, we will refund your ticket costs in full.
Assuming we can go ahead as planned – social distancing will be observed.
- Highgate School chapel holds around 250 and we are currently planning on a maximum audience of 60 – so plenty of space for you all to get away from each other.
- The chapel is mid Victorian Gothic in style with a soaring ceiling – so a very good circulation of air.
- All our players are instrumentalists, not singers.
- We will ask that masks be worn during the performances.
- Hand sanitisers will be available at the entrance.
We are all looking forward so much to our exciting chamber music festival and do hope to see many of you at several – or hopefully all – of our concerts.
