The Return of Flanders and Swann

12th June – book here for The Return of Flanders and Swann

Such was the success of our Flanders and Swann evening last year that I really had to schedule a return visit. And I am happy to say that both William and Michael were up for it so – as many of you have already noted, they are back with us on Thursday June 12th.

For At the Drop of a Hat enthusiasts – I need say no more! For those who have never heard of Michael Flanders and Donald Swann, this is quintissential British humour of the 50s – but still extraordinarily relevant today. For a taster of their particular brand of humour, check into my report on the evening last year – or put Flanders and Swann into You Tube and you will find a fine selection.

William and Michael’s success last year, I have to say, was almost equalled by that of our 1950s supper – so on 12th June we will again be serving Coronation Chicken, Egg Mayonnaise and Prawn cocktail!  What not to like….

If you have not already done so, book here – and do not delay. We do still have seats but they are selling fast.

Meanwhile…

Sunday 18th May – 6.30pm – Hampstead Lane

Madeleine Mitchell and the London Chamber Ensemble play Haydn’s Bird Quartet and Charles Wood’s Highgate quartet. There are a few tickets left but only a few – to book go here.

Sunday 25th May – 12 noon – Highgate Society

William Jack the Australian jazz cellist who played at our Rush House concert last November.  £15 to include a glass of Bucks Fizz – book here.

For future happenings in at Hampstead Lane and elsewhere – see our Upcoming Events page.
