And then………
Korros celebrate Elizabeth Poston and International Women’s Day – Thursday 10th March – 6.30pm – book tickets here.
Eliza, Camilla and Nick will be playing previously undiscovered music by 20th century English composer Elizabeth Poston (including the first ever piece written specifically for their unusual group of instruments, clarinet, flute and harp). Poston is at last starting to gain recognition as one of the finest of 20th century English composers much of whose work was done in collaboration with the BBC.
There will also be pieces by 21st century women composers Catrin Finch and Cheryl Frances-Hoad – all to celebrate International Women’s Day.
To hear Korros playing in the chapel last summer – and learn a little more about Elizabeth Poston – check in to this post.
