Early spring concerts in the Highgate School chapel

On Sunday 27th February and Thursday 10th March our lovely mid Victorian Highgate School chapel will be hosting our first concerts for 2022 –

Sunday 27th February – 6.30pm

Madeleine Mitchell and her London Chamber Ensemble will reprise their sell out gala concert at the V&A’s Fabergé exhibition before Christmas –
Borodin – String Quartet No. 2  D major
Ravel – String quartet in F major
Music from Les Vendredis

And, to tempt you, here is a clip of Madeleine and the ensemble playing Schubert’s quartet in A minor in the chapel last summer.

Thursday 10th March – 6.30pm

The Korros Ensemble – Nick Ellis on clarinet,  Eliza Marshall on flute and Camilla Pay on harp – celebrate International Women’s Day with newly discovered pieces by 20th century composer Elizabeth Poston and 21st century women composers, Cheryl Frances Hoad and Catrin Finch.
