April 26th – Schubert Sonatinas
We are delighted to be hosting the Vermeer Chamber Concerts for a rare performance of the complete Schubert Sonatinas on a period forte piano with Richard Egarr and Sijie Chen. A rare chance to hear not just a piano, but a forte piano at Hampstead Lane.

Richard Egarr, music director of the Academy of Ancient Music for 15 years, ‘straddles the worlds of historically-informed and modern symphonic performance’. As half of Duo Pleyel Richard regularly plays four-hands repertoire with his wife and tonight will be playing a forte piano.
Sijie ‘Susie’ Chen is co-leader of the London Mozart Players, a member of the Academy of Ancient Music and plays with many other period instrument groups.
