If you were unable to join us in Highgate Chapel on November 6th – or if you would like to listen again to Emily, Victoria and Clemmie – here is a little taster.
Bien m’ont Amour entrepris – ‘Love has me in its grip’ – an anonymous song from 13th century France – followed by:
Hildegard’s Favus Distillans – ‘A dripping honeycomb’
You will not be surprised to hear that they were extremely well received and we very much hope that they will come back and sing for us again. Meanwhile, keep an eye out as, next year, SOMM Recordings will be releasing an album of their programme, ‘Hildegard Transfigured: a medieval trance for the 21st Century’.
