Last Sunday in the chapel – Sunday 20th in South Grove!

Madeleine Mitchell, Gordon MacKay, Bridget Carey and Jospeh Spooner of the London Chamber Ensemble looking very happy after their wonderful performance of the Borodin and Ravel string quartets.

Despite the pall thrown over all things Russian by the tragic events in Ukraine, The London Chamber Ensemble’s Russian Romantics concert on Sunday night was a great success. As Father Robert said when when introduced the Ensemble – ‘Good things do still come out of Russia’ – and they certainly did.

For those of you who missed it, here is the second movement of the Borodin String quartet no 2. – Scherzo: Allegro

Sunday March 20th – Gypsy Jazz

And so on to Sunday 20th March when we move to 10A South Grove, home of the Highgate Society for something very different.

A pre Sunday lunch concert of Gypsy Jazz – washed down with a glass of Bucks Fizz! Part of the Highgate Society’s new series of fun Sunday lunchtime events. More details to come very soon but if you cannot wait…..

Go here to book.
