After all of the amazing and moving music of the last week, it is good to be looking forward to something a little more light hearted this coming weekend – the return, by popular request, of Sol Grimshaw and his Gypsy Jazz players who were such a success when they played at the Highgate Society’s first Sunday lunchtime concert back in March.
As usual proceedings will open at 10a South Grove with a glass of Bucks Fizz at midday – followed by some rousing playing from Sol and his friends.
Really looking forward to this. Sol Grimshaw and his band are excellent.
