Viennese café music on May 22nd

Our first Sunday lunchtime concert for the Highgate Society was a great success – Sol Grimshaw and his Gypsy Jazz group. So great a success indeed that they have been invited back to take part in the Highgate Festival in June and then again in July at the Islington Festival.

The society had been keen to make use of their newly reburbished hall at 10A and what better way to do that than a Sunday concert?  Who wouldn’t fancy a little tender music and a glass of Bucks Fizz before their Sunday lunch?

So, for our second concert on May 22nd we are stepping a little bit back in time – to Vienna at the turn of the 20th century. Joana Ly and Martin André, founders of the Islington Festival, are going to be tugging at our heart strings with pieces by Mendelssohn, Fauré, Dvorák and Fritz Kreisler – while we sip our chilled Bucks Fizz!

Tickets are £15 each and you can book right here.

12 noon – 22nd May – 10A South Grove.
