A taste of Gypsy jazz…..

Belatedly – but this has been a busy few weeks – a taste of  Sol Grimshaw and his group at the Highgate Society a few weeks ago. Above – trumpeter Magnus Pickering as seen by Alison Gardiner, our in house artist!

For those who haven’t noted it, the guys have been such a hit in Highgate that they have now been booked by the Brendan the Navigator pub on Highgate Hill where you will be able to hear them at 8pm on Thursday – and hopefully on other Thursdays after that.

Meanwhile, here is Alison’s rendering of Toby Yapp on bass.

Sol himelf and Harry Diplock on guitars.

More jazz to come

And don’t forget that we have more jazz to come: the J.A.M. String Collective at Hampstead Lane on November 3rd.

Book here for November 3rd.
