Happy Christmas!

Since sadly we cannot celebrate Christmas in company, I would like to wish you all a very happy socially distanced Christmas. And to tell you that, since we are unable for now to get together to play and listen to live music, I will try to update you on any on-line performances that I hear of that you might enjoy. Such as:

The English Touring Opera’s Shostakovich, Britten and Tippett productions that I was lucky enough to see live (yes, live……) at Snape in October. And I thoroughly recommend them.

The very prescient cartoon above was drawn by our very good friend and long-time cartoonist for our FoodsMatter magazine, Christopher White, who sadly died a few years ago. I don’t now remember why social distancing at that moment seemed appropriate – if he could but have known how appropriate it would be now….
